Generic Ecomm Demo
You may wonder, what would it be like to work with Jessica (White) Hancock?
The answer is, you may have to scale me back. I love silliness, and joy and bright colors (on a minimalist background). If you let me run wild and free on a project, I can come up with some fun stuff, that I totally expect to be pared back to something slightly more professional.
This project was a good example of that. Our sales team was looking for a way that they could show retailers how our product would look on their site, without asking me to place our buttons and banners directly onto their ecomm page for them EVERY TIME. Like I had been doing before.
In other words, we wanted, a Generic Demo. So, armed with the brand colors, and the prescribed buttons and marketing banners, I was let loose to do my thing. This is the result.
How did Sales and Solution Architects respond to this, you ask?
WONDERFULLY. I was thoroughly shocked that they loved the bright colors, and the wire-framey feel that gave you the impression of a website, without making retailers of different varieties (jewelers vs furnitre stores) feel excluded.
This piece of the Demo is currently being used today, with more pieces of a full explanation still in the works.
